    The Blockchain Consortium Program Manager is responsible for the overall management of a recently formed blockchain consortium and solution delivery, including managing multiple workstreams and activities related to consortium governance, planning, blockchain solution delivery, as well as legal, compliance, and security definition workstreams.   This is a key role in the execution and operation of a blockchain consortium of multiple healthcare organizations.


    The Blockchain Consortium Program Manager works with a number of workstream team members (who are responsible to for the execution of their respective workstream and its impact on the consortium’s success) to monitor cost, schedule, quality and technical and user performance of component projects and operations, while working to ensure the ultimate success of the consortium. This individual is responsible for coordinating resources among their constituent workstreams within the bounds of the consortium and for the effective communication to and management of consortium governance executive stakeholders.


    • Develops and maintains an agile program plan for consortium governance management and solution realization
    • Manages and communicates with the staff associated with the program, including the consortium governance stakeholders and NASCO leadership
    • Leads and executes program/projects in a transparent and productive way, applying agile project management practices
    • With guidance from the Innovation Office of the CTO, manages the consortium solution delivery program charter establishing key objectives, participants and scope, and communicates it effectively internally and externally
    • Plans, schedules, and tracks program deliverables and milestones using standard tools
    • Establishes Program and Project Change controls
    • Establishes consortium and workstream risk management processes
    • Provides guidance to workstream leads for the development of the individual workstream objectives, participants and scope, and communicates it effectively
    • Oversees the individual workstream plans, schedules, and deliverables and milestones and ensures they link to the overall consortium program objectives
    • Effectively communicates consortium program expectations to workstream staff and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
    • Manages all program and workstream changes and actively addresses any program issues

    • 11+ years related work experience in a company or department with a heavy emphasis on delivering innovative technology solutions
    • 10+ years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of the project lifecycle.
    • 3+ years operating in an executive (C level) facing role, preferably across organizations
    • In depth knowledge of agile delivery principles
    • Experience managing a program of projects as part of a funded startup organization or internal innovation team
    • Demonstrated experience in successful risk identification, mitigation, and contingency planning
    • Experience managing one or more permissioned enterprise blockchain related proofs of concept or implemented projects
    • Experience with developing business cases and project charters
    • Experience successfully managing multi-million dollar projects from startup to operations
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
    • Master of Business Administration or Master of Information Science degree strongly preferred
    • PMP certification required within 18 months from date of hire
