  • Overview

    The NASCO Technical PEGA Academy is a multiple phased training program to develop skilled NASCO associates on the NASCO Development Team. The Academy will leverage PEGA and NASCO’s best-in-class educational programs.

     

    The first phase includes topics about healthcare and the NASCO system, tools, and process overview education. The second phase includes training in Pega core competencies for developing a business application built on the Pega Platform and ends with obtaining certification as a Pega Certified System Architect. The third and fourth phases are focused on learning specific NASCO Pega interfaces and applications.  The final phase includes hands on experience in applying the skills acquired in the previous phases to relevant NDT Pega application development.

    Our innovative program teaches users Pega application development skills, a key technology asset that many major global corporations have in place to operate their business.

     

    Our core curriculum is designed to accelerate your technical learning with real-world training scenarios and specialized classes. The Academy includes over 500 hours of Pega and healthcare training sessions, which focus on Pega application development, tools, programming concepts and healthcare overview.

     

    Once a user progresses through training, they enter the Shadow and Parallel Phase, where you will gain a mentor who will assist you as you practice the skills you have learned developing routine and current system enhancements.  

     

     

    Qualifications

    Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience:

    • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, and can operate in large teams that work closely with clients.
    • Sound time management skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and deliver on time.
    • Proven communication skills, a passion to learn and your strong analytical skills to solve problems are a must.
    • Strong ability to work well with other people and cross functional teams and being able to adapt to the
    • changing environment.
    • Capable of partnering and networking with the NASCO IT community while working alongside Top Talent.
    • Working knowledge of business software applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).

    Required Education:

    • Bachelor's degree, preferrably in Computer Science, engineering, information technology or equivalent.
