Overview

The Director, Business Solution Consultant leads our pre-sales solutions architecture team in delivering best-in-class healthcare technology solutions to our clients. This role plays a critical role in driving the development, implementation, and optimization of our product offerings, ensuring alignment with client needs, market trends, and organizational goals. 

 

This role collaborates with all teams within the organization to support a vision and story will drive mutual successWith heavy involvement outside our organization, this role interacts heavily with client and prospects presenting demonstrations and workshops. This role also communicates to their manager on status of projects and initiatives. 

Responsibilities

  • Leads the solutions team in developing and delivering innovative healthcare technology solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients and drive business growth 
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, sales, Professional Services, and Client Success, to define solution strategies, roadmap priorities, and go-to-market plans 
  • Drives the development and execution of comprehensive solution plans, including solution design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support 
  • Acts as a subject matter expert on product offerings, industry trends, and competitive landscape, providing strategic guidance and thought leadership to internal teams and clients 
  • Establishes and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry organizations, to drive collaboration, innovation, and business success 
  • Leads solution demonstrations, presentations, and workshops for clients, prospects, and industry events, effectively communicating the value proposition and benefits of our solutions 
  • Develops and scale a set of deliverables that will support the clients shared vision ensure all stakeholders have documented details clearly defying and articulating the Business case and ROI being delivered by the proposed solutionThis includes but not limited to current and future state comparisons, cost of change roadmap, defining metrics of what success looks like  
  • Drives continuous improvement and innovation across the solutions organization, leveraging feedback, data, and insights to enhance product quality, usability, and performance 
  • Leads, influences and manages a team of resources to include conducting talent acquisition activities, coaching and/or mentoring, and identifying training requirements for associates 
  • Conducts performance management activities, including performance reviews, goals, development and continuous feedback 
  • Creates, manages, and administers an annual departmental budget which may include billable hours and percentage targets 
  • Helps define department strategic objectives and drives business outcomes in alignment to the organizational strategy 

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, drive results, and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences  
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders, driving collaboration and business growth 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement  
  • Advanced understanding of healthcare industry trends, regulations, and challenges, with experience working in payer environments preferred 

Experience: 

  • 8 years of experience in healthcare technology, with a proven track record of success in solution design, development, and delivery 
  • Experience in Payer and Provider space understand true elements towards solving for Value-based Care 
  • 5 years of management experience in Solution or Healthcare Product space for product organizations 
  • 5 years experience with payer trends and the technical ecosystems for payers and bit healthcare enterprise products 
  • Experience in Payer and Provider space understand true elements towards solving for Value-based Care  
  • Experience working in an Agile environment and familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices 

Required Training, Certification and Education: 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, computer science, clinician, or related field  

Preferred Required Training, Certification and Education: 

  • Masters degree or equivalent experience preferred
