Under general direction of the director, Finance, the Financial Manager I generally interfaces with and supports Director, Executive Director and VP level resources throughout the company. The Financial Manager I makes recommendations and implements decisions on financial operational and policy issues affecting the business. One of the main responsibilities of this role will be developing and maintaining annual budgets and monthly forecasts. This role manages complex financial function(s) within their assigned areas and is considered an expert within the unit in one or more specific areas of accounting/budget/finance.
The Financial Manager I communicates to appropriate parties as needed regarding status of projects. This role represents the organization as a prime contact on project or organizational issues at various management levels with both internal and external customers.
This role requires residence near the Atlanta area, with the expectation of occasional in-office presence, approximately once a month, as needed.
